You drink coffee every day. But the reality is…a lot of people drink it wrong.

What could be a memorable experience becomes…a simple shot of caffeine.

When you learn about coffee tasting and learn to drink coffee the right way, you open up a world of taste experiences. Because coffee is much more than just a strong drink.

It’s an amazing brew that connects you with faraway communities…while at the same time connecting you to your own daily rituals.

Make each day that much better…with fantastic coffee.

What are the 5 ways you can make your coffee taste better?

There are quite a few steps involved so that you can make your coffee taste better. And I won’t lie to you – it takes time to learn many of those steps. But the results are worth it.

First: you need to know which coffee to purchase.

Second: You need to know how to store your coffee so that it stays fresh longer.

Third: Should you worry about coffee grinding? Yes!

Fourth: Then you need to know how to brew coffee right. That involves brewing methods and techniques. But don’t worry – I help you out with easy methods in this video.

Fifth: Once you have your amazing brewed coffee, you need to know how to taste it. Professionals in the coffee industry have a system they follow to judge the coffee. Although that sounds like it could be complicated, I make it easy for people who are new to the coffee scene.

Share your knowledge

And frankly, once you learn all those things and have this absolutely fantastic coffee in your cup, you’re probably going to want to share your knowledge with friends and family. You can do that by holding mini coffee tastings with them, a fun way to bond as you discover new tastes.

If all of that sounds absolutely fantastic to you, I’m glad! Because I am super passionate about learning about coffee and teaching other people. Drinking truly good coffee is one of my biggest pleasures in life (and it can be calorie-free, guilt-free, cholesterol-free!).

If you want to learn about coffee tasting, you can follow the links I’ve added to this article. But you may be asking yourself …

How can you learn more about coffee?

As I mentioned above, I’ve linked to many articles I’ve written about coffee. I hope you enjoy reading them, because I enjoyed writing them. I hope they start you on the road to drinking truly memorable coffee.

If you’d like to see all that coffee information in just one organized place, as well as tons of additional information, I have coffee courses that will resolve your coffee questions and get you brewing and tasting fantastic coffee in record time.

My Taste Coffee like a Pro course is fantastic for people who are starting out in their coffee journey. Why? The course is just over 1 ½ hours and it’s fun and dynamic.  But just because it’s short doesn’t mean it won’t teach you what you need to know.

In the Taste Coffee like a Pro course I help you understand:

  • How to do coffee tastings like the professionals do
  • The system coffee professionals use to know if coffee is good
  • How coffee should be bought, stored and ground
  • How you can organize coffee tastings with friends or for work
  • How you can sharpen your coffee tasting skills
  • How to brew coffee that impresses your barista

An added benefit is that for a limited time I’m offering a 15% discount off the course! Just click through this link to get your coffee discount.

Why should I learn about coffee with a coffee professor?

Frankly, why would you want to learn about coffee with anyone but an expert? I live in a coffee-producing country (Colombia) and worked as a coffee professor at the prestigious La Sabana University until I started my own coffee academy.

I have taught people from every continent – even coffee professionals! – about coffee in Latin America. I have years of experience taking a complicated subject and making it easy and fun.

That’s why people call me The Coffee Lady (seriously, you can Google it).

Do you have any questions? Get in touch with me – I love to answer coffee questions. The contact form below is an easy way to reach me, but I’m also available at courses@latinamericancoffeeacademy.org.
